The town of Fairfax, a bit north of us, raises money for their summer programs for kids with a duck race (lots of numbered yellow rubber ducks released into the river and the winning duck collects a prize. The town wanted to have a trophy to recognize the local merchant who sells the most tickets. It needed to be eye-catching. So, we found a 10" duck and added it to the top of an 18" trophy cup on base. It is really hard to miss!
