Braille Restroom Sign with Pictogram
The applique method of Braille signage is horribly wasteful of non-recyclable plastic. Our method, as approved by the Vermont Assoc. of the Blind and Visually Impaired, engraves into the plastic subtracting material rather than adding it. This is how ADA signs were done until the additive "Raster" method was patented and marketed heavily.
We laser engrave these signs for the State of Vermont with our laser and it's $5,000 fume extractor so no nasty chemicals are vented into the atmosphere and no plastic is wasted. (Just imagine with the handicap pictogram being cut out of a piece of plastic - all the material surrounding each piece goes straight to the landfill.
