The shells shown here were from the burial ceremony of a soldier killed in Iraq. We buffed and then engraved them. The brother of the deceased was making them into key chains as mementos for the family.
All non-standard items are taken in at the discretion of the production manager. The initial issue is how a piece can be held securely and if we have a jig that works. If we have to make a jig, it gets expensive, Some pieces are doable but so valuable we can't afford the risk of accident or the time required would be prohibitive and of course it all depends on our schedule.
The shells pictures cost: $25 for set-up, $5 each to buff, $15 each to engrave but every item is a bit different.
